A hidden gem located in one of London’s most beautiful settings, The Holland Park Orangery has long provided a stunning backdrop for all manner of special events. So, it goes without saying that we were absolutely delighted when the lovely Lucy from Lucy Meehan Events Ltd approached us to plan a floral installation for this shoot. The glorious glass and stone room is situated next to a stunning rose garden and flooded with natural daylight during the day, it’s ideal for a summer ceremony and this was very much the overarching theme for our romantic wedding shoot.

The space provided the perfect blank canvas for a show-stopping alter design, brimming with English-grown foliage that created the beautiful movement throughout the design. As proud supporters of British-grown produce we source the majority of our foliage from local suppliers and growers, it is simply unparalleled in quality and offers a beautiful, unique texture – ideal for garden-style installations such as this one.

We wanted to bring the outside in. Peonies, scented garden roses, spray roses, larkspur, dainty scabious, astrantia, and nodding guelder rose were among the many summer varieties we combined to create this seasonal display. A long, meadow-style floral runner ran the length of the banquet table accompanied by soft teal taper candles for a gentle contrast of colour. With floor-standing table ends growing up from the floor filled with florals in lovely pink, coral, peach and soft greens – pure romance.
