We were thrilled to work alongside the wonderful Michelle from Pocketful of Dreams on Max and Callie’s magical multi-day wedding at Heckfield Place. Our inspiration for their garden-style flowers came from the natural beauty of the venue and grounds, resulting in three distinct floral palettes that perfectly complemented each part of this spectacular three-day celebration.
Day one began with an intimate rehearsal dinner, for which we designed a bold and brave color scheme, pairing together deep mulberry and mauves with pops of warm peach, yellow, and mustard hues. Ceramic vases filled with lush greenery and garden-style flowers created an elegant yet moody summer dinner party vibe.
On day two, wedding guests were welcomed to a fabulous garden party, decorated with a soft pastel palette of garden-style florals with accents of blue chinoiserie. English foliage and delicate summer blooms combined to create a romantic atmosphere within the walled garden, where twinkling lights added to the magical ambiance.
Finally, for the wedding day itself, we designed a series of spectacular floral arrangements in a classic and understated palette of crisp green and white flowers, perfectly complementing the venue’s natural beauty. A meadow-style floral aisle and a stunning arch created a breathtaking backdrop for Max and Callie’s romantic garden ceremony, while the floral theme continued across the grounds and throughout the marquee.
Like so many special events, Max and Callie’s wedding had to be postponed due to the restrictions throughout the 2020-2021 season. Therefore, it brought us immense joy to be a part of their wedding journey and see their long-awaited celebration come to fruition. All beautifully captured by Lucy Birkhead.
