Dreamy Finca Morneta Wedding Workshop In Mallorca

What an honour it was to be invited by luxury wedding planner, Rebecca Marie to design and install the flowers for one of her world-renowned LARK workshops. This incredible styled shoot was held at Finca Morneta, which is nestled in Mallorca’s striking countryside.

The property was built in the 13th century and presents a characterful setting for celebrations. It boasts ample space for weddings with bountiful gardens, courtyards, an outdoor pool and grand interiors.

 

Sublime Mallorcan Inspiration

Due to the workshop being attended by some of the most prestigious photographers in the industry, we are fortunate to have three photographers’ galleries to showcase. It’s a beautiful demonstration of photographic styles and we are grateful to be able to share the work of Ross Hurley, Liz Greenhalgh and Charlotte Nelson. A thank you to these incredibly talented photographers for capturing our flowers in all their glory.

 

Designing flowers for industry workshops is always a wonderful opportunity. It’s a pleasure to meet fellow creative wedding suppliers and have the chance to push the boundaries with flower design. It goes without saying that Mallorca is a perfect destination for luxury weddings and we are proud to have one of our flower studios based on the island dedicated to flower design in Mallorca.

 

We are well-accustomed to working with esteemed industry professionals, and this collaboration was the perfect showcase of talent. Working in harmony with the styling team, both before the day with thorough planning, and on the day, is something we have vast experience in.

 

Bespoke Flower Design

For the workshop, we designed flowers for three different spaces, the ceremony, the poolside and the courtyard. With two different model couples, Lucy and Brad and Monte and Laketa, there was also an opportunity to create contrasting bouquets for their looks.

 

When designing the florals, we collaborated seamlessly with Rebecca Marie to encapsulate her vision for the styling of the day. The terracotta and cream tones against the natural foliage complimented the tones of Finca Morneta’s historic stone walls and lush gardens. Working in symphony with the venue surroundings for a cohesive wedding day style works beautifully.

 

The organically designed flower pillars framing the picturesque doorway created a breathtaking backdrop to the outdoor ceremony.

Grasses and greenery made for spectacular floor flowers alongside an array of carefully selected flowers. These displays were moved from ceremony to reception to create a consistent style between spaces.

 

In the courtyard, romantic drapes hung above the table which set the scene. Our blooms were set off delightfully against green glassware and pale blue stripe napkins.

 

 

Burnt orange roses and soft draping tulips featured heavily in the table centres. Stems were placed into contrasting antique vessels, which created an extraordinary setting in which to dine. Beside the pool, parasols and natural linen completed the whole table.

 

The bouquets were comprised of two distinctive styles. The first bouquet was an extension of the vibrant table flowers with a cascade of whimsical flowers and the second bouquet was a minimal and modern posy featuring delicate pale pink roses.
