In the summer of 2022 we had the pleasure of designing the flowers for Hannah and Pete’s whimsical woodland wedding at Hedsor House. This was a very special wedding for us because our bride, Hannah, is a wedding planner that we’ve enjoyed working with on several occasions. Therefore, we were absolutely thrilled that she asked us to create the flowers for her special day.
A stunning Georgian mansion with over 100 acres of private parkland, Hedsor House is an Italianate-style mansion perched overlooking the River Thames, just a short distance from London. The stunning house and grounds provide the ideal backdrop for all manner of events and provided the perfect setting for Hannah and Pete’s whimsical woodland wedding theme.
Meadow-like blooms led the way up the staircase to the entrance to the venue, where a ginormous floral arch brimming with the season’s finest blooms welcome guests within. The whimsical woodland wedding theme continued inside with trees framing the altar and meadow-like floral designs leading the way through the ceremony and grand reception rooms.
