An Exciting New Chapter for Paula Rooney Floral Design
Something so exciting on the horizon next week… An exclusive London event, a culmination of thirty years (!) of floral experience and heralding in the next chapter; one that speaks from my heart and soul…
We’re propelled forward in evolution not revolution, shored up by the brand’s world-renowned foundations – opulent and abundant blooms, thoughtfully designed for their location, delivered with world-class service.
It turns out these three things were my passions, long before the Paula Rooney brand came into being.
My childhood home backed onto the grounds of a grand manor house. A former country estate, bequeathed to the city of Liverpool and its inhabitants, it was my playground as a child. Plucking posies and making perfumes, the bountiful grounds exuded such heady sights and smells; the epitome of natural beauty. We played at Lords and Ladies against the backdrop of centuries of history and heritage. I learnt the theatre of life; that we could curate decadence and opulence, and design a dreamlike reality to inhabit (even if it was only until mum leant out from our back gate and called ‘tea time!’).
I left home. Almost three years working in the luxury sector on the iconic QE2, one of the world’s grandest ocean liners, reiterated these self-same passions. I was enamoured by the vessel itself, steeped in history and design. But I also further cultivated my appreciation for the highest quality and most beautiful luxuries, honed a very fine eye for detail – and discovered a pride in delivering the finest white glove experience to my discerning clients.
Home again, I set up Paula Rooney Floral Design. Subliminally, these three drivers remained the same. Rich, abundant nature. Location-informed, bespoke designs. Efficient, first-class service. They all united under my floral design education, to drive exactly the sort of brand I wanted to create.
And that’s exactly what Paula Rooney Floral Designs has always been, and will always be.
Something very special is imminent, and it speaks from deep within. I carry these three passions into the new.
Keep an eye on our Posts and Stories over the next week to find out what’s coming…
