Last weeks wonderful wedding was at Saint John’s Church Park, Hyde Park then Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire. What a thrill it was to install in two beautiful spaces. We spoke to Paula for the inside details. Enjoy reading!
The couple decided upon a collection of white o’hara and avalanche roses, white calla lilies and calla lily buttonholes as their wedding florals. For the church flowers a stunning, trailing design of cream hydrangea, white roses and foliage created a beautiful entrance for the bride. Either side of the aisle entrance was lined with three perspex plinths with glass vases of crisp white calla lilies, clouds of white hydrangea and white vendela roses in a slanted, contemporary and stylish design. At the base of the plinths, clusters of hurricane vases with a candle inside framed the top of the aisle and created a fairy tale entrance. Clusters of cream hydrangeas with gorgeous foliage trails and cream ribbon bound every other chair either side of the aisle. A white urn on a white plinth with a statement design of white delphinium exploded out from a beautiful cloudy base of white hydrangea and roses added beauty to Saint John’s Church.
Beautiful glass bowls brimming with white avalanche, vendella and o’hara roses, white lilies and cream hydrangea lined the reception room. Lovely bud vases of a single stem white rose styled along the length of the long banqueting tables created a stunning tablescape. A low design dripped down the front of the top table which created a crisp luxurious look.
